Great stapler  
Perfect for making small half fold booklets in low volume. We make a small Bat Guide for ourselves ([...]) and this stapler is perfect for binding the books. Making our own half fold guides allows us to change the content and keep it up to date the problem was binding them. I bought one and thanks to its malfunction I am now a stapler engineer. It is very heavy and a somewhat awkward design. Mine (an older one) says to use SF 15 staples which are actually SF 4s these days. However a manufacturing defect with mine at the staple hammer area squeezes the SF 4s and they cant reach into the hammer zone. However - My stapler works with Standard staples SF 1s just ok to average. Also the anvil is part of the plate and the plate has slotted screw holes for adjustment. After adjusting I still get wacky staple bends in the back of the paper. Lining up the pamphlet on the seam just right takes some skill. Will work through this to complete concepts prior to sending off to printing house but then it is going in the trash. : 2010-09-15 05:11:08

Good but ...  
I LOVE the concept of this stapler .. HOWEVER .. it seems that if I didnt HIT the stapler JUST RIGHT the staple didnt go through and I would have to pull it out and redo. Still when it worked it was great with lining up the staples in just the right place and my programs turned out wonderful! Just takes some patience! : 2010-09-15 05:11:08
